Sarah Azhari also provided an explanation regarding the arrest of her brother, Ibra Azhari, in a drug case. He admitted that he had not seen him once more following his brother was released from prison two months ago until he was finally arrested once more in an apartment.
Even though she was in Jakarta, Sarah admitted that Ibra lived elsewhere and she felt it was impossible to always ask where her brother was. He also explained that Ibra Azhari had separated from his wife and was being looked following by one of their families.
“His wife isn’t there. His wife is probably already this, I think, just separated. If he and his first wife were already officially separated, if (with his wife) yesterday he was separated. He (Ibra Azhari) was also in (prison) right “We don’t go out together anymore. As far as I know it’s like that,” explained Sarah Azhari at Pagi Pagi Ambyar studio, Wednesday (10/1/2024).
“I have brothers and cousins who really take care of Ibra. It’s my responsibility to look following him,” he continued.
This also attracted quite a lot of public attention because it was stated in the official police statement that Ibra was arrested with his girlfriend with the initials NN in the apartment. Regarding who NN really is, Sarah admitted that she didn’t know him. He only explained that his brother was a person who was closed off regarding things like that.
“He never shares anything. At least when he’s sick or whatever, his communication isn’t with me, but with my sister Rachel, or the one in France, Abduh. With me, Tia and Rahma, they don’t want to bother me,” he said.
“(Regarding NN’s figure) I can’t give a response, this is not my capacity. I don’t know who Ibra’s friend is, I don’t know who the woman in the news is, I don’t know the relationship between Ibra and his friends,” said Sarah. Azhari.
Apart from that, he also responded to the wild issue of Ibra Azhari as if he was being ignored by his family members. He emphasized that they still communicate even though they live on different continents and often spend time together.
Sarah also felt that Ibra might be a closed person and ashamed of the rest of his family because he had been an addict for years. He became an eyewitness when they lived together in 2010 where Ibra struggled to stop his addiction.
“I want to say that in 2010, before I went to LA, Ibra lived with me, he had just come out (from prison). Living with me, I didn’t know that addictive people were like him if they didn’t take drugs like sakau. It was sick and I didn’t know. When “I thought he was sick, I thought he had a heart attack, his face was blue, he was pale because he was sick,” he concluded.
