In the province of Chaco, a new edition of the International Meeting of Sculptors is taking place, coordinated by Mr. Cristian Alvarenga and organized by the Municipality of the town of Pampa del Infierno, in charge of the mayor Glenda Seifert.
An extremely important cultural event of great significance for the entire region that will house the best Sculptors from across the country and other countries, where the artists from Santiago Sergio “Puma” Herrera and Christian Varas Guaraz are representing our province.
In this regard, the consecrated reference to public art Sergio “Puma” Herrera stated “The second international meeting of sculptors is taking place, we are making sculptural murals that are the Stations of the Cross in a place that is on the way to the cemetery, it is a ride in where the 14 stations are, in each one there is an artist, each one representing a particular station”.
Likewise, he expressed “I am doing the fifth station and the other Christian Varas Guaraz from Santiago, is doing station number two. The meeting ends today, Sunday, and the walk is inaugurated. There are very important sculptors at an international level and many have won awards and have traveled the world, what we are experiencing and also learning is incredible, we are making sculptural murals with relief, with techniques that are enduring”.
