In the Milanese investigation into Visibilia Editore, coordinated by the deputy prosecutor Laura Pedio and the prosecutors Maria Giuseppina Gravina and Luigi Luzi, 17 people are under investigation for false accounting – in addition to the minister there are her partner Dimitri Kunz, her sister Fiorella Garnero, her niece of the minister Silvia Garnero and the ex-partner of the senator Canio Giovanni Mazzaro who had roles within the spa – and three companies (Visibilia editore spa, Visibilia srl in liquidation and Visibilia editor srl). This is what emerges in the notice of conclusion of the investigations.
At the center of the investigation, which arose from a complaint from small shareholders who requested checks on the spa’s accounts, what emerged – for the investigators – was a financial imbalance which, starting from the 2016 financial year, would have ‘compromised’ the spa and subsequent choices made by the top management would have caused the share value to almost disappear. Only three weeks ago, on March 22nd, the same Milan prosecutor’s office had closed – once more once morest the FdI senator and two other suspects – the line of investigation into an alleged scam once morest the INPS in relation to alleged irregularities in the use of the Covid 19 exemption redundancy fund for 13 employees.
