The Santa Sofía Clinic, a member of the Vargas Medical Group CA, announced the incorporation of Arturo Casado Salicetti as its new executive director, who will be in charge of the strategic plan to raise the standards in structural areas of the institution to the current demands of the Venezuelan market.
For Dr. Germán Cortez, president of the board of directors of the Vargas Medical Group, the presence in the executive management of Arturo Casado leads the Santa Sofía Clinic to promote its managerial vision towards a new management model, as well as to consolidate its expertise in the medical field, where she is recognized for her more than 40 years serving private health in the country.
For his part, Casado has an extensive business career in areas such as finance, insurance, and the media, which has led him to preside over and advise corporations and transnationals at a local and international level. Giving statements regarding the objectives of his new responsibilities, he stated: “On assuming the executive management of the Santa Sofía Clinic, my commitment goes beyond planning, operations management and decision-making at a financial level; it is aimed at promoting the work exercised by the medical team and administrative and health personnel, the engine that has driven the institution for more than 40 years”.
Casado Salicetti led the Leo Burnett Venezuela agency, where he served as executive president and director of New Business for the Latin American region, he also developed professional activities in the general management of Marketing and Services of American Express, he was vice president of Marketing for the Royal Bank of Canada, executive vice president of Banco Mercantil, chairman of the board of directors and executive president of Credimatico and Servimatico, director of CONEXUS, president of Diners Club Venezuela, principal director of Seguros Mercantil, chairman of Millennium Devolepment Enterprises, LLC., executive president of the Group Vepaco, in addition to occupying the executive vice presidency of Marketing of the newspaper El Universal and being an advisor to the presidency of Banco Pichincha Colombia and Peru.
