The Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (AFSCA) has decided to withdraw from sale the Cheddar Cheese Sauce (3 kg) and Dip Nacho Cheese Style (250g) of the Santa Maria brand. She is recalling them from consumers due to the possible presence of Bacillus cereus (a germ frequently responsible for food poisoning, editor’s note).
You are asked not to consume these products and to return them to the point of sale where they were purchased.
The Cheddar Cheese Sauce (3 kg) mentions the minimum durability date (MBD) from 06/01/2024 to 08/31/2024, the Nacho Cheese Style Dip (250g) those from 06/01/2025 to 08/31/ 2025. All batch numbers are affected and both products are sold in plastic pots.
They were distributed through different points of sale.
