Santa Clause, Percy Jackson, National Treasure: Disney+ releases new trailers for upcoming series

Disney+ provided insights into a variety of projects at the D23 Expo. One of them is the sequel to the popular Santa Clause films starring Tim Allen. At the convention, a first trailer was released, which is already in the mood for the series. In this, Santa Clause announces that he wants to retire, following which a search for a suitable successor ensues. The series premieres on November 16 with a double episode on Disney+.

The series spin-off follows almost exactly a month later The Legacy of the Knights Templar. Here, too, Disney + not only announced a start date of December 14th at the D23 Expo, but also unveiled the first trailer. In National Treasure: Edge of History a new group of adventurers embarks on a mysterious treasure hunt.

There is still no date for Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The series adaptation of the popular Percy Jackson books is currently still in production. However, this did not stop those responsible from presenting a first teaser trailer at the D23 Expo. The series will probably appear in the course of the coming year.

It’s not quite for a trailer, however American Born Chinese enough. The series is currently also being filmed, but a first glimpse was given at the D23 Expo with a featurette. The format of Kelvin Yu (Bob’s Burgers) and Destin Daniel Cretto (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) revolves around an American of Chinese descent who one day meets a new student and through him encounters the mystical world of Chinese gods.
