The French Sandy Dujardin, neo-profe of the formation TotalEnergies, offered the second stage of the Tour of Rwanda, Monday, February 21 in Rwamagana. He was ahead of Axel Laurance (B&B Hotels-KTM) and Jhonatan Restrepo (Androni-Giocattoli). Alexandre Geniez, who arrived in the main peloton, retains his yellow leader’s jersey thanks to his victory the day before in the inaugural time trial. He is six seconds ahead of Restrepo and seven over Dujardin. On Tuesday, the second stage, 155.9 km long, will take the riders of the 19 teams involved in this 14th edition from Kigali to Rubavu (north-west), opposite Goma (Democratic Republic of Congo).
