The figure of Isra Mashel Arifin suddenly went viral following appearing as one of the Paskibraka team at the Merdeka Palace at the 77th Indonesian Independence Day ceremony.

According to his narrative, Isra Marshel Arifin has been a paskibraka since the 6th grade. However, the activity was stopped when he was in the 3rd grade of junior high school due to the pandemic.
“I’ve been participating in paskibraka since 6 elementary school, grade 1 and grade 2 still participating, just not being very diligent, then grade 9 because there is a pandemic and I don’t go to school anymore because it’s online too,” explained Isra Marshel Arifin.
“So I started to be active once more when I was in 1st grade of high school and the selection was at that time. Maybe it was hot once more, and Alhamdulillah,” he explained.
Sandy Arifin and Eka Pujie Sikmasari as parents said they were proud of their child’s achievements. Moreover, many also expressed their appreciation for Isra Marshel Arifin, who at that time was part of the team for lowering the red and white flag.
“Yesterday we were at the palace, there was no signal, when it was late at night Isra finished the event, parents were waiting for them because there was a follow-up event, once in the car, look at cellphones starting from Instagram, WhatsApp, a lot of people sent photos of Isra. The next day when they saw the news Wow, masyaallah, I was surprised too, thank God,” said Sandy Arifin.
Seeing many netizens who were amazed by the figure of Isra Marshel Arifin who suddenly went viral, the X MIPA class student at SMA Labschool Cirendeu did not expect it to turn out like this. The eldest son of lawyer Sandy Arifin only hopes to qualify for the national level and become part of the 2022 National Paskibraka team.
“It’s normal, because I also didn’t expect it to go viral, already being able to qualify for the national level is also quite enough,” concluded Isra Marshel Arifin.
