[London, 5th Archyde.com]-Russian President Vladimir Putin said on the 5th that Western sanctions once morest Russia are equivalent to a declaration of war, and warned that attempts to establish a no-fly zone in Ukraine would have devastating consequences for the world.

President Putin reiterated his aim to protect the Russian-speaking world by “denazifying and de-Nazi” so that Ukraine would be neutral and not threaten Russia.

“Current sanctions are equivalent to a declaration of war, but I’m grateful that they aren’t,” the president said at Aeroflot’s training center near Moscow.

He pointed out that Russia would consider it a step towards a military clash if another country tried to set a no-fly zone in Ukraine. He said such measures would have catastrophic consequences for Europe and the world.

The president denies concerns that martial law and emergencies will be declared in Russia. “We do not intend to introduce any special regime on Russian territory,” he said, saying that such measures would only be issued if there were serious internal and external threats.
