three yachts blocked

Until now, the blockade of three Russian magnate yachts had been made public by the Government. Thus, this Tuesday the General Directorate of the Merchant Marine confirmed that it had been sealed the ‘Lady Anastasia’ in Port Adriano, in Calvià (Mallorca)and another yacht in the Port of Barcelonathe ‘Valerie’. Both are flagged in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The yacht ‘Valerie’ is a private pleasure boat of 85 meters in length. In a second statement, the Merchant Navy reported that the ‘Lady Anastasia’, immobilized in Mallorca, is 48 meters long and 9 meters wide. The investigation indicates that the latter would be owned by the Russian oligarch Alexander A. Mikheevas European sources confirmed to Europa Press.

The Official Journal of the EU has reflected that Alexander Mikheev is president and CEO of Rosoboronexport, Russia’s only official state broker for the export and importation of military and dual-use products, technologies and services.

In addition, on Wednesday the ‘Crescent’ was temporarily immobilized, docked in the port of Tarragona and which might belong to Igor Sechin, CEO of a Russian oil company included among those sanctioned by the European Union and very close to Vladimir Putin, police sources informed Europa Press. Putin’s mistakes according to Sánchez

In this context, Pedro Sánchez has said from Romania that Putin He has made three mistakes. On the one hand, not taking into account the “commendable” resistance of the Ukrainian people and its president Zelenski in response to the invasion by Russian troops.

He believes that he has also been wrong from a strategic point of view in believing that the international community, NATO and the EU were not going to act together and it is proving that it is. He has even recalled the “unanimous condemnation” in the United Nations General Assembly of most of the countries.

In addition, he stressed that what is important is the “message of unity” from the international community, from the allies within the framework of the Atlantic Alliance and “without a doubt” from the EU. This unit, Pedro Sánchez stressed, is the best asset and the best security guarantee towards this attack that Putin is perpetrating in the Ukraine.
