Famous Sufi singer Sanam Marvi has announced to quit singing following domestic disputes.
Sanam Marvi’s retirement from singing was announced following her step-sister singer Reshmaan Parveen filed a police complaint once morest her accusing her of serious allegations.
Reshmaan Parveen released a short video statement in Sindhi language on June 22, claiming that her sister Sanam Marvi barged into her house with private guards and tortured her.
In the nearly 2-minute long video, Reshmaan Parveen claimed that Sanam Marvi barged into her house, tortured her and threatened to kill her because she knew regarding his third marriage.
Reshmaan Parveen claimed that Sanam Marvi has married a boy named Kabib Nawaz following her divorce from Hamid Khan in February.
Reshmaan Parveen said that Sanam Marvi’s sister tortured her and threatened to kill her because of talking regarding her third marriage and the end of her second marriage.
Reshmaan Parveen said in a video message that following being threatened with death by her sister, she also filed a complaint in the police station of Lahore.
The singer said that she moved from Sindh to Punjab’s capital Lahore three months ago and Sanam Marvi is threatening her to show her alive in Lahore.
