As announced today, 2026 will once more take place in the hilly city’s 68,500-seat arena played for the title. The stadium is home to the San Francisco 49ers and is now the venue for the second time following 2016.
The Super Bowl is the final of the American professional football league NFL. It takes place in February every year. The next Super Bowl will be in Las Vegas in 2024 and in New Orleans in 2025. The Kansas City Chiefs are the defending champions this season.

Alongside this announcement, the hilly Northern California city is also pleased to announce a new global campaign & the reopening of the AirTrain station.

SF Travel launches new campaign

As part of the new “Always San Francisco” campaign, an auelaborately designed image video are the most important City landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Cable Cars, Lombard Street and Chinatown, as well as the diverse neighborhoods and attractions are shown. The campaign also highlights the city’s culinary offerings, presents many festivals, LGBTQIA+ events and the topic of “diversity” and presents the varied music and cultural scene. The video runs in the USA until October 2023. The new slogan will also be used in Europe.

FH SFO: AirTrain station back in operation

And more good news: San Francisco International Airport (SFO) has reopened the AirTrain station at Harvey Milk Terminal 1. As a result, passengers can now go directly to the domestic terminal once more.
