Hollywood star Samuel L. Jackson would have liked to have starred in every film in the Marvel Universe. The 74-year-old, who plays as Agent Nick Fury in “The Avengers”, “Captain Marvel” and the new series “Secret Invasion”, said the German Press Agency in London.
“I never tire of playing Nick Fury, there’s no question regarding that,” Jackson said. “I’m almost disappointed that I haven’t been in every film they’ve made in the last 15 years.”
For this, Jackson plays in the spy series «Secret Invasion» the lead role for the first time. “Hopefully I’ll do a good job,” he joked, “so that they keep me for a while and I get to play in some other things that are in the planning stages.” At least for the time being, Jackson is definitely there. The next movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) with him is “The Marvels” and is scheduled to start on November 8th.
Jackson said his role in Secret Invasion was an opportunity he’d been waiting for. In the series, he can also show other sides of Fury that have been neglected in the previous MCU films. “We’ve never seen that before,” said the busy actor. “It’s a chance for the audience to go to other places with him, outside of his work.”
