“When I look at Trump, I see the same rednecks I saw growing up. Those who tried to keep me from leaving my place (…). That’s what the Republican Party means to me. If you’re not like them, you’re their enemy,” the “Pulp Fiction” star said in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine published Tuesday.
It is not the first time that the interpreter, recognized with an honorary Oscar in 2021, criticizes the head of the US Executive between 2017 and 2021, since he blamed him for “ruining the planet” in 2019, and then he also charged against those who did not they raised their voices against their policies for being “accomplices”.

“The world seems to be in as difficult a time as ever. As a kid in the 1960s, I watched what happened at the 1968 Democratic National Convention and how the police beat up those protesters. That’s how I learned that there are certain kinds of things that the powers that be don’t want us to do,” Jackson said.
