Samsung plans to present its new ring-shaped wearable Galaxy Ring during the month of July this year and, ahead of its launch, it will begin producing around 400,000 units in the month of May.
This new smart device from Samsung is designed to “track, measure, monitor and upload information related to health, fitness and sleep,” according to the patent description filed in March 2023.
Thus, as was known in July of last year, the Korean technology company had begun working on the development of its Galaxy Ring smart ring together with the Japanese company Meikoin charge of providing the components.
Later, as verified in the code analyzed in an update of the Galaxy Wearable application in September, Samsung confirmed the name of Galaxy Ring and its planned launch for this year 2024.
