announced Samsung announced the launch of a new update for its application Camera Assistant Which she had released last year exclusively for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, and stated that the app, in addition to its availability for her new Galaxy S23 Ultra, will soon arrive on a group of her old phones.
The application is available for download along with the main camera application to add a set of features that are not provided by the default application, as it comes with new capabilities to improve camera performance and change the default way in which captured images are processed.
The new update offers more precise controls that allow adjusting the sharpness of Sharpening images, as the feature can be completely canceled or its degree changed. The application also offers an option to improve the speed of capturing the image by controlling the shutter speed, where the user can either choose to take the image as quickly as possible by simply pressing the button, which comes at the expense of reducing the quality of the captured image, or choose a balance between speed and quality, or choose Focus on quality at the expense of comparatively slower image capture.
Users of the application can also modify the feature of long pressing the image capture button, which by default allows switching from capturing still images to video recording, but users of the new update can modify this feature to capture an animated image in GIF format instead of video.
To improve the speed of taking pictures in low-light conditions, the update provides the ability to disable the Auto HDR feature within the settings.
