A few days ago, Samsung released a major software update for Galaxy Watches that fixed some bugs and improved integration with South Korean televisions. However, the update also brought a bug that affects the Galaxy Watch 6 line’s touchscreen.

Fortunately, Samsung has started rolling out a new update that fixes the problem. At the moment, the update is only available in South Korea, but it will reach more countries in the coming days.

The latest update available in South Korea for the Galaxy Watch 6 line brings firmware version R930XXU1AXC2 and requires a download of approximately 136.34 GB, but this size may vary on Galaxy Watch 6 Classic models. It is also worth noting that it does not include the April 2024 security package.

In addition to fixing touchscreen issues, it implements improvements to the overall system stability. Unfortunately, Samsung has not revealed when the update will reach more countries.

If you have any of the models in the Galaxy Watch 6 line and want to check if the update is already available for you, simply access the Wearable application on your cell phone, access “Watch Settings” and click on “Watch software update”.

The Galaxy Watch 6 line was launched last year with the One UI Watch 5.0 interface based on Wear OS 5. The expectation is that it will receive the new version in the second half of this year.
