A glasses-free 3D gaming experience with Odyssey 3D
The innovative Light Field Display (LFD) technology of Odyssey 3D creates 3D images from 2D content using a lenticular sheet[3] at the front. By integrating Eye Tracking and View Mapping technologies, the Odyssey 3D ensures an exceptional 3D experience without the need for 3D glasses. The Eye Tracking technology analyzes eye movement using a built-in stereo camera, while View Mapping technology continuously adjusts the image to enhance depth perception.
The Odyssey 3D can seamlessly switch between 2D and 3D modes based on the player’s preferences. It is available in 27” and 37” sizes, featuring a 4K display, GtG response time[4] of 1ms, and a refresh rate of 165Hz to ensure a remarkably smooth gaming experience.
Moreover, the Odyssey 3D is designed for ergonomics, featuring a stand that allows for height and tilt adjustments, FreeSync Premium functionality, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, and two HDMI 2.1 ports. At CES 2024, it received the “Best of Innovation” award in the Gaming & eSports category.
