During an exceptional preview presentation, Samsung unveiled its Ultra Short Throw 8K Ultra HD video projector, intended to be placed just a few centimeters from a wall or screen.

This is the first model of its kind to be “wireless”, knowing that it still requires an electrical connection. All audio and video signals pass through a dedicated WiFi channel from the One Connect box which can be placed several meters from the video projector.

The Samsung The Premiere 8K comes with several image correction features, including correcting keystone and sharpening automatically. It uses triple laser technology to project a very large image.

Like the brand’s other TVs and projectors, it integrates the Tizen system with its share of streaming applications as well as the cloud gaming hub. It is also capable of offering a Multiview option so you can enjoy four sources simultaneously.
The device has an audio system on the front, but also oriented towards the rear, to produce sound that “bounces” on the screen. The set delivers 100 watts of power using 8.2.2 channels. Having been able to attend a demonstration, we were able to see that the sound proposed is extremely powerful. The video projector is Dolby Atmos compatible.
Samsung has not yet communicated its price or availability date.
