Reports and rumors were constantly coming out that Samsung’s new flagship phone Galaxy S21 is being launched next month, but now the company itself has leaked details regarding it.
According to a report by Android Authority, the Samsung Store in India itself has leaked the details that the Galaxy S21 series phones will be launched globally on January 14 and will be available on January 29.
Earlier, in the last few days, the Android Police had also told regarding these dates in their reports.
If proven true, it would mark a significant shift in Samsung’s strategy over the years.
The South Korean company usually unveils its S-series phones at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona in February, but next year the event will be held in June.
So keeping this in mind, Samsung has decided to introduce the flagship phones at CES, the biggest technology show scheduled in Las Vegas from January 11 to 14.
According to a report by Android Authority, the pre-order system for the Galaxy S21 series has also been introduced at Samsung’s store in Bengaluru.
Customers can book the phone for INR 2,000 and decide on any device from the series once the phone is launched.
Note that the price of the phones has not been announced yet.
The S21 will be available in Grey, Pink, Purple and White colors while the S21 Plus will be available in Pink, Purple, Silver and Black.
All three phones will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2100 processor, but models with the Snapdragon 875 processor will be available in some markets.
Samsung Store representatives also confirmed that the S21 Ultra will feature a 108-megapixel main camera with two 10-megapixel sensors, one with 10x optical zoom.
