Samsung still believes in its future in high-end PCs

A slew of PCs at once, unheard of! Samsung unveiled not one, but five new “laptops” in San Francisco on Wednesday, including an ultra-powerful model… at 3,899 euros. With these new Galaxy Book 3, the South Korean giant wants to show that it still has a say in the PC market, on which it has never really broken through.

“We want to strengthen our position, particularly in premium, which now represents 50% of our sales. The goal is to reach 60% in a few years, explains Mincheol Lee, the world boss in charge of PCs, tablets and connected watches at Samsung Electronics, in an interview with “Echos”. Volume is important, but we want to make the difference with quality”.
