Samsung SDS has declared that it will lead ‘hyperautomation innovation’ that explosively improves corporate work productivity through generative AI.

To this end, Samsung SDS announced ‘Brity Copilot’, a solution that automates intellectual tasks, and ‘FabriX’, a platform that accelerates the combination of generative AI with cloud systems. This solution and platform can be combined with various LLMs desired by companies, such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Naver’s Hyperclova

Samsung SDS announced the service slogan ‘Simply Fit, Simply Chat’, which means that it will provide generative AI services as easily and conveniently as corporate customers want. Samsung SDS announced this following holding ‘REAL Summit 2023’ at the Grand Intercontinental Parnas Hotel in Seoul on the 12th.

Brity Copilot, announced by Samsung SDS, goes beyond the limitations of RPA (Robotic Process Automation), which currently only automates simple repetitive tasks, and applies generative AI to intellectual tasks performed in common business systems such as mail, messenger, video conferencing, and data storage. It’s a solution.

Brity Copilot automates various tasks through generative AI, such as writing video conference minutes, drawing action plans, and sending emails to the person in charge. In addition, Brity Copilot can be linked to existing systems originally used by companies and also supports a private cloud environment, so it can be used without worrying regarding security.

Song Hae-gu, Vice President of Samsung SDS’ Solution Business Department, announced that in addition to Brity Copilot, generative AI services will be used to increase productivity in core business systems such as ERP, SCM, and HCM, as well as system development and operation areas. Vice President Song said that as a result of independently piloting this solution, the developer’s development speed was improved by 30%, and the performance verification speed was doubled. In addition, it was emphasized that the time to create operational documents in ERP operation was reduced by 75%, and the automation rate of processing customer requests was achieved at 60%.

Samsung SDS also announced FabriX, a business platform that brings together the company’s various IT resources, including data, knowledge assets, and work systems, so that executives and employees can easily share and use them. Samsung SDS announced that companies can use FabriX to connect generative AI and business systems more easily and quickly.

Samsung SDS Cloud Service Business Division Vice President Koo Jun-jun emphasized, “Companies that want to introduce generative AI can easily and conveniently connect all business systems and various large language models through FabriX to accelerate hyperautomation.” In addition, they announced that they will safely support data collection, storage, and preprocessing through Samsung Cloud Platform (SCP) so that generative AI can be used without worrying regarding security.

Meanwhile, Samsung SDS presented 24 sessions sharing Samsung SDS’s core capabilities and business cases under the themes of AI&Data, Cloud, Enterprise Solutions, Supply Chain & Logistics, and Finance as part of the Real Summit followingnoon event. In particular, cases of digital transformation of core corporate systems such as ERP, SCM, and HCM, as well as Korean Air’s application modernization project and Amore Pacific’s cloud transformation case, were announced and attracted attention from participants.

Samsung SDS CEO Hwang Seong-woo said, “LLM understands the highly variable human language well, enabling hyper-automation of office work that might not be done before,” adding, “Samsung SDS executives and employees are already utilizing generative AI. “We have begun a journey to accumulate business knowledge and improve productivity, and the results of our in-house testing are surprising and admirable.”
