A Samsung presented two new monitor models to the public this week. This is the ViewFinity S9 S95UC e S6 S65TC, which arrive with the promise of offering immersive experiences and recent technologies. The first piece of equipment mentioned is 49 inches in size, while the second is 34”.
Among the main features, it is worth mentioning that the device (LS49C954U) comes with a resolution of 5,120 x 1,440 pixels and a 32:9 aspect ratio. Likewise, the panel comes with a 1000R curvature and supports a 120 Hz refresh rate, in addition to providing a response time of 4 ms.
Furthermore, the device has a brightness of 350 nits and its functions also include VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification and sRGB space coverage of 115%, while FCI-P3 is 92%. Regarding connectivity, it has two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, three USB Type-A 3.0 and one USB Type-C with 90W output. It also has two stereo speakers, a 3.5 mm input and an Ethernet port.
This model (LS34C650T), in turn, has a smaller panel with lower resolution: 3,440 x 1,440 pixels. However, it maintains the 1000R curvature, but its refresh rate is limited to 100 Hz, while the aspect ratio is 21:9. The device still has HDR10, but it does not come with certifications like the previous one and supports AMD FreeSync.
The connectivity part features an HDMI 2.0 port, a DisplayPort 1.2, two USB Type-A 3.0 and a USB Type-B, as well as a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a LAN port.
Both models are now available in South Korea for purchase and can be purchased for the following prices:
