Samsung has finally decided to make Quick Share available on all computers. Samsung has been offering the ability to transfer files from a Samsung-designed Android smartphone to a Windows 11 and 10 PC for nearly two years. As practical as it is, Quick Share suffered from a problem that prevented it from achieving real success: the app was so far only compatible between Samsung smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Samsung is now offering Quick Share version 1.4.40 on the Microsoft Store, and explicitly states that the app “Now supports Windows PCs from other companies”. This is good news for those who wanted to try the Quick Share feature.
