Samsung puts the finishing touches on the interface One UI 4.1 for the Galaxy S21 Ultra!

Last week, an official on Samsung forums confirmed that the South Korean company is working on a One UI 4.1 update for the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Note 20 series, and it is expected that these series will receive the new interface during February.

Today we have new leaks that Samsung is already working on One UI 4.1 version of the company’s own custom user interface and it is expected to arrive on the Galaxy S21 Ultra soon.

If you are wondering where this information comes from, it is from Ice Universe on Chinese Weibo who confirmed the news by mentioning the update version number which comes with the firmware update code G998U1UEU5CVA4.

All indications are that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will be the first to receive the One UI 4.1 version next month. But as you know, the upcoming Galaxy S22 series will already get the new version of the user interface at the time of launch.

More improvements and changes will be brought by One UI 4.1

Nobody knows for sure what we can expect regarding the new interface and what it can do for us. But as the name of the release suggests, it will probably introduce some improvements to the current interface.

But surely everyone is hoping to get some new features, especially some advantages that Galaxy S22 series users can benefit from in the near future.

But we shouldn’t get too high. It’s impossible for One UI 4.1 to bring such drastic changes as the ones we got following moving from One UI 3.1.1 to One UI 4.0.

It is also not surprising that the Galaxy S21 Ultra is the first to receive the new update, as this phone still occupies the top position in the hierarchy of the Korean company’s devices, in addition to the company’s foldable phones such as the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3.

The company’s foldable phones launched during 2021 are sure to have One UI 4.1 soon following the Galaxy S21 Ultra got the interface.

Unfortunately we don’t know anything regarding old Samsung phones or mid-range phones, there is no timeline showing when these phones got the interface version. But as the Galaxy S22 series launch date approaches, we’ll likely get more details.
