From the 9th, Samsung Electronics will integrate the Samsung Pass service into Samsung Pay and sequentially update the software including various functions that enhance user convenience.

Through this update, Samsung Pay supports ▲ a ‘digital key’ function that can be used as a home or car key ▲ ‘digital asset’ search to check my virtual assets at a glance ▲ It plans to provide a ‘ticket’ service function, etc.

First of all, the digital key function is a function that allows users to access their homes and cars through Samsung Pay without carrying a physical key.

Through Samsung Pay, users can lock and unlock car doors and even start the engine. The sharing feature also allows you to use the key with family members or acquaintances.

If you use a door lock linked with the SmartThings app, you can conveniently enter and exit the house through a simple operation with Samsung Pay.

Samsung Pay’s digital asset inquiry function supports real-time confirmation of various digital assets linked with virtual asset exchanges Korbit, Coinone, and Bithumb.

In the future, it plans to support a ticket service function that can be used by adding boarding passes issued by airlines and various tickets such as movies, performances, and sports to Samsung Pay. Through this, users can manage various flight boarding, movies, and performance schedules.

All functions added to Samsung Pay can be continuously monitored through Samsung Knox, a security platform, to prevent various external threats. In addition, sensitive personal information is stored in a separate secure area within the device so that users can use it with confidence.
