Expected in conjunction with the release of Android 13 this fall, Samsung’s home interface should offer more pleasant navigation thanks to smoother animations.

The development of One UI 5 — Android 13 — is in full swing, and few details have yet reached us. But, the specialized site SamMobile said he heard some hallway noises.
For the sources of the site, “ One UI 5.0 will significantly improve animation execution speed “. A promise in the air, which for the moment is not supported by anything. Still, it should appeal to those who find that Samsung smartphones lack responsiveness.
One thinks in particular of the informant Ice Universe who, on his Twitter account, don’t miss an opportunity to scold Samsung for the heaviness of its interface. He will therefore be delighted to learn that, for SamMobileOne UI 5 aura « a heavy impact on the user experience “, in particular in ” synchronisant [ses animations] on the high refresh rate of high-end Samsung smartphones. »
My God, I thought the new one UI 4 beta would bring a better experience. I was wrong. It often switches between 120Hz and 60Hz, which has not appeared before. It looks very stuck. I want to know if you are the same, or only the Chinese version????? pic.twitter.com/18b9h8eKLf

Let’s stay there for the promises and wait to have more concrete to put in their mouths. Traditionally, Samsung unveils the new version of its mobile overlay at its annual developer conference. In recent years, the SDC had been held in the second half of October, and the new version of One UI had launched in public beta in the weeks that followed.
To put it another way, consumers will still have to wait until early 2023 before you can enjoy One UI 5.0. An interface which, no doubt, will find its place in the future Galaxy S23 as soon as they are released.
