Monthly program starts 2023 with 28 activities taught by educators from partner universities; Manaus students also have face-to-face classes
The Samsung Ocean, Samsung’s technological training program, opened the schedule of free activities for 2023. In January, the grid has a total of 28 classes taught by educators from the University of São Paulo (USP), University of Campinas (Unicamp) and University of the State of Amazonas (UEA), which participate in the initiative in partnership with Samsung. In addition to promoting training in the most diverse areas of technology, the program issues certificates to participants who complete the activities. Samsung Ocean January Schedule Highlights
Starting on January 16th, Samsung Ocean’s schedule of activities opens the year with Agile Trails, Internet of Things (IoT), Bixby, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Games and Digital Fabrication, in addition to content on Wearables, Programming and User Experience (UX). In addition, almost half of the activities will be carried out in person on the Manaus campus, the first of which is a Digital Fabrication Trail class, scheduled for the 17th at 1 pm (local time).
The online content opens the year with an Agile Trail development class, scheduled for the 16th, at 9 am (Brasília time). On the same day, at 6 pm, there will be an Internet of Things Trail laboratory focusing on Arduino. Remote programming also includes content on the Bixby Virtual Voice Assistant (17), Creating 2D games with the Unity tool (19), Introduction to the Internet of Things (24), Concepts and practices of Design Thinking (26), Python language programming (31) and much more.
“Samsung Ocean is an initiative created to offer quality technological training to all interested parties. With that in mind, our goal for 2023 is to offer even more activities, taking into account the main market trends and the areas of greatest demand, so that we can contribute to an increasingly advanced and developed market with highly qualified professionals”, explains Eduardo Conejo, Senior Innovation Manager in Research and Development at Samsung.
Samsung Ocean activities are completely free and offer a certificate of participation. Interested parties can register via the website www.oceanbrasil.com or via the Samsung Ocean app, available for download on the Play Store.
