Samsung lost phone now possible to find even when offline

Samsung is soon adding a new feature to Galaxy smartphones that will allow users to locate a lost device even when it is offline.

By the way, since 2018 Samsung’s Galaxy phones have a feature called Find My Mobile which helps in finding lost phones.

To use this feature, you need to sign in to a Samsung account, which is usually created before using a new phone.

Well, if not, no problem as it only takes a few minutes and your Find My Mobile can be enabled for any Galaxy series.

It’s true that even Google doesn’t have this service in the form of an app for all Android phones, and there’s nothing wrong with that, but Samsung’s service for its phones can provide more support. .

However, it is now being improved with an update that is currently not available to all users.

A tweet shared screenshots of the new feature which clearly reads ‘This will allow you to find your phone with other people’s Galaxy phones even when it’s not connected to the network. The update will also allow you to use your phone to scan for nearby missing Galaxy devices’.

This feature is called Offline Finding.

Apple also introduced a similar feature in iOS 13 last year called Find My, which allows users to locate lost iPhones even when they are offline.

It is not yet clear when this new feature of Samsung will be available to all users.
