Samsung Electronics America announced that it has brought Samsung display technologies to the highly anticipated FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN SILVER LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX 2023 through its partnership with Liberty Media and Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc. With lights out on the 18th November, spectators attending the race in Las Vegas or watching from around the world were able to see Samsung’s display technologies shine throughout the Las Vegas Grand Prix pit building, including 3 extra-large grandstand screens with a total of 3.8 million pixels, a dynamic, slim screen that serves as a backdrop for the entrance escalator, as well as a new “star” in the sky, an LED display in the shape of the F1 logo – the dazzling LED display that It is located at the top of the 304-meter-long building’s rooftop and is so bright that it can even be visible from outer space.

No rooftop logo from F1
The 2616 square meter 10mm LED display with over 22 million pixels stretches 146 meters – longer than a football pitch – and reflects the shape of the F1 logo, thrilling viewers watching from home while broadcasters use the board to provide more immersive, up-close views of the race.
Trapeze escalator
The 137 square meter 3.9mm escalator LED display is designed to create a “wow” moment as it presents stunning content using over 9 million pixels.
Grandstand
The stands are equipped with three 87-square-meter Samsung 8mm LED screens with over 1.2 million pixels to enhance the viewing experience for all attendees in attendance, ensuring that not a moment of the action is missed. The new displays feature Samsung’s latest advanced HDR10+ technology, with brightness of over 8,000 nits, to provide the most dynamic image quality, even on the sunniest of days.
The F1 rooftop logo, trapeze escalator and three grandstand displays feature more than 33 million Samsung LED pixels and span over 2,972 square meters and together are long enough to go two and a half laps around the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.
