In yet another move to convince iPhone users of the “folding revolution”, the Samsung updated your website “Try Galaxy”. Now, the web app offers Apple fans a preview of the Galaxy Z Fold5’s display — as long as they use it. two iPhones.
For those unfamiliar, the South Korean folding has an impressive 7.6-inch internal screen. With the web tool, Samsung offers iPhone users a teaser of that experience.
To “test” the device’s functionalities, users need to access the “Try Galaxy” website on two cell phones, synchronize them, and voilà — a simulation of the larger Galaxy Fold5 display “unfolds” across the two iPhones.
The site offers a variety of experiences, ranging from an Air Hockey game to multitasking tutorials. The interactions, however, are largely controlled by video, making it clear that this is a promotional ploy.
This type of marketing is nothing new for Samsung — already known for its pinned to Apple. Previous campaigns have focused on Apple’s absence from the foldable market, urging iPhone users to explore “the Flip side”.
While the web app doesn’t turn iPhones into Androids, it admirably mirrors the aura of the software. The app now also embraces a wider audience, supporting 20 languages — including recent additions like Korean and Hungarian.
