Samsung launches the Galaxy Tab S10 series of tablets

Samsung officially announced the launch of the new Galaxy Tab S10 series, which carries major changes compared to previous versions.

One of the main changes introduced by the Korean company in this series is the cancellation of the basic version, as the series now consists of only two versions instead of 3 versions, namely the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, without a third version.

The two new devices feature a similar design, but the Ultra version comes with a larger screen and a stronger battery, with more connectivity options and additional memory.

One of the major changes in the Galaxy Tab S10 series is the use of a completely new processor; The company did not use an Exynos or Snapdragon processor as in previous years, but rather turned to using the Dimensity 9300+ processor from MediaTek.

According to Samsung, this new processor provides improved performance of 18% in the CPU, 28% in the graphics processing unit, and 14% in the neural processing unit compared to previous versions.

The Galaxy Tab S10 series greatly enhances the capabilities of artificial intelligence. It comes with the same smart tools that Samsung provided in its flagship smartphones that it launched this year.

The devices will support operating system updates for a period of seven years, which means that Galaxy Tab S10 owners will enjoy support for a long period.

The new devices look very similar in design to the series that was launched last year, but they come in two new colors, gray and silver. They are also thinner and lighter with bodies made of reinforced aluminum and are water and dust resistant with an IP68 standard.

Both devices contain a water- and dust-resistant S Pen, quad speakers, fingerprint sensors built into the screen, support for traditional and virtual SIM cards, and 45-watt fast charging.

The Galaxy Tab S10+ comes with a 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen, a 13-megapixel primary rear camera, an 8-megapixel wide-field camera, and a 12-megapixel front camera. It contains a battery with a capacity of 10,090 mAh, and 12 GB of random memory. And a storage capacity of 256 and 512 GB.

The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra comes with a larger 14.6-inch screen, but it offers up to 16 GB of RAM and a terabyte of storage capacity, and a battery with a capacity of 11,200 mAh.

Samsung is offering the Galaxy Tab S10+ at a price starting at $1,000, and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra at a price starting at $1,200.
