“Samsung” launches its “Galaxy A” series of phones this week

Samsung Electronics is preparing to release its new Galaxy A series of phones this week, which is expected to include 4 basic models: A23, A33, A53, and A73.

This comes following the company launched its flagship Galaxy S series of phones, which included 3 models, last month.

In contrast to the “Galaxy S” series and “Galaxy Z” foldable phones, the “Galaxy A” series offers value for a relatively acceptable price, with features and characteristics that win the confidence of users of this category.

The launch of the new phones, which is called “Awesome Galaxy A Event”, will be held next Thursday.

In this context, the company published the teaser image of the event, but it does not provide many hints regarding the phones scheduled to be launched.

The image shows 7 letters “A”, and might indicate the appearance of seven phones of the “A” series, although “Samsung” offered only 4 at the launch event last year.

After the launch of the flagship Galaxy S22 range in February and the relatively affordable Galaxy S21 FE debut in December, Samsung fans are expecting less budget-friendly phones at the Galaxy A launch event, which is set to be streamed on its website. The company is on the web and the official YouTube channel.

It is expected that the new phone models will witness drastic changes from the previous models, with the expectation that the phones will support the fifth generation networks “5G”, a feature offered by other competing companies in phones targeting the middle class.

In addition, rumors and leaks indicate that the “Galaxy A73” and “A53” phones will witness distinct upgrades over the previous models. The “A73” phone is expected to come with the same 6.7-inch screen as the previous model, with the processor upgraded to the “Snapdragon 750G” chip.

The “A53” phone may have a 6.5-inch screen paired with the “Exynos 1200” chip from “Samsung”, along with a quad rear camera and a 32-megapixel selfie.

Unlike other expected smartphones from the “Galaxy A” series, the leaks indicate that the “A33” and “A23” phones will run on the “Android 11” operating system.

According to reports, the first phone may have a 6.4-inch “AMOLED” screen, while the other will have a 6.6-inch “IPS” screen, both of which will get a screen refresh rate of 90 Hz.
