Samsung launches Galaxy Xcover6 Pro in Taiwan

Samsung

Samsung today introduced a series of military-standard three-proof aircraft for the Taiwan market. Galaxy Xcover6 Pro, is the first 5G mobile phone in the series and the first model sold directly to consumers in Taiwan. Although the Galaxy Xcover series has been on the market since 2011, most of the models have never come to the Taiwan market. Only the Xcover4 seems to have been sold directly to enterprise users.

The Xcover6 Pro complies with the US MIL-STD-810H military standard. In addition to IP68 water and dust resistance, it also has a detachable 4,050mAh battery and a loudspeaker for increased volume. Whether it is three-proof (waterproof, dustproof, shockproof) or replaceable battery, it is quite rare in modern smartphones. There should be some harsh working environments, or consumers who often run outdoors will be interested.

However, in addition to the three defenses, other specifications are not unexpectedly in the high-end position, including the Snapdragon 778G processor, 6.6-inch FHD+ 120Hz refresh rate LCD screen, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage space. Its primary lens is a 50MP f/1.8, while the secondary lens is an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide, plus a 13MP front lens. The Xcover6 Pro also has a customizable “X cover” button that can quickly launch apps or walkie-talkie functions.

The Galaxy XCover6 Pro is only available in “Classic Black” and is expected to be available in Taiwan on July 15, with a single suggested price of NT$19,900.
