Samsung Island in the Metaverse also inaugurates the Virtual Showroom, highlighting the lines of smartphones, televisions and monitors
Samsung Electronics has activated a new map for its gameplay in the Fortnite game Metaverse1, focusing on the new Galaxy S23 5G*. The new interface will allow players and visitors to the environment to interact with the device in an even more immersive way, as the entire space will be characterized by the design and features of the latest smartphone from the Galaxy S line.
“Our communication channels in the Metaverse need to be constantly updated so that our interfaces communicate not only Samsung products, but our most recent messages. And this is one of the coolest features of the digital universe, the Metaverse and the gameplay of Fortnite, specifically. They enable the use of a multimedia language in which we connect – with great speed – messages, products and people, with a lot of immersion”, says Arthur Wong, Marketing Director of Samsung Latin America.
In addition to the new map, gameplay in Fortnite has also been improved and gains attributes compatible with those of the Galaxy S23 5G, such as the new zoom feature, which allows the player to view with high resolution at a long distance, giving an advantage during the game and allowing meet easter eggs hidden on the map. It also has the Nightography button2, which offers the ability to see in the dark, adding a new dynamic to the game. Finally, there is the Knox button, which provides an extra layer of protection to the player, emphasizing another differential of the Galaxy Ecosystem.
Fun Game Quest, available on Samsung’s island in Fortnite, is an interactive game in the “hide and seek” format, where the player needs to find the new hidden Samsung Galaxy S23 5G smartphone and keep it in his possession until the end of the round .
New Virtual Showroom in the Metaverse
In addition to the new gameplay, the Samsung island in Fortnite will host a new Virtual Showroom, with the Galaxy S23 5G line of smartphones; television models such as the gamer TV QN90B and lifestyle models The Frame, The Serif, The Sero and The Terrace, and The Freestyle projector, in addition to monitors from the Odyssey line.

The Galaxy S23 5G lineup also features a greater variety of recycled materials than any other Galaxy smartphone, including pre-consumer recycled aluminum and glass, and post-consumer recycled plastics from discarded fishing nets, water barrels and PET bottles, as well as in packaging made from 100% recycled paper.
