Certification Illustrates Samsung Knox’s Commitment to High Security Integrity and Efficiency for 10th Consecutive Year
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced that Samsung Knox, the security solution built into its 2024 TVs, has achieved Common Criteria (CC) certification ahead of its launch.
The CC certification is a global benchmark, recognized by 31 countries worldwide, for evaluating the security integrity of IT products. Samsung has achieved 10 consecutive years of CC certification for Samsung Knox, a world-class security solution for its TVs that has been refined year following year. Now, Samsung Knox demonstrates its global security excellence with validation achieved on its 2024 TVs, before they are available to consumers in the market.

This certification exists to ensure consistent and rigorous integrity evaluation standards for IT products. With a refined assessment, CC aims to strengthen confidence in the security of certified IT products and includes a Protection Profile (PP) and a Security Target (ST). ). CC certification highlights three main security features of Samsung Knox:

- Blocking phishing websites: Samsung Knox verifies the web pages users access, preemptively blocking any phishing sites to protect user privacy and data.
- Perfected personal information protection: Samsung Knox ensures reliable protection of users’ sensitive personal data through a secure connection with Samsung Knox Vault, a dedicated processor for security features.
