Samsung is preparing to premiere a new foldable smartphone, which for the first time in history will have “FE” in its name. Phones with this marking are very popular among Poles due to their very good quality-price ratio.

Galaxy Z Flip FE with Samsung’s own processor
Despite previous rumors about Snapdragon 7s Gen2 as a processor for Samsung’s cheap flap, it looks like that the upcoming novelty will receive a processor from Samsung. However, it will not be Exynos 2500, whose delays have been discussed a lot on the Internet recently, but a proven system known from Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+, i.e. this year’s Exynos 2400.
Resigning from an external supplier of systems may have a positive impact on the prices of the device, and at the same time we already know that there will be no problems with performance or overheating. This generation of Exynos offers a very good work culture and does not drain the battery unnecessarily.
The only thing that may be worrying in today’s package of leaks from Jukanlosreve is the information about the end of the Snapdragon tradition in the main Z Flip line and the Z Flip 7 model. If the reports are true, it may be Samsung’s first flagship flip on Exynos, and more precisely on Exynos 2500. However, this the first source of this information and it is worth waiting for verification.
Cheap, i.e. how much?
Unfortunately, we still have a big question mark on this matter. If Samsung really wants to disrupt the foldable phone market, it should bring down the prices of the competing Motorola Razr line (without Ultra in the name). A flap costing around PLN 3,000 – PLN 3,500 can steal the hearts of many people. Another phone costing over PLN 4,000 is unlikely to create queues in front of stores.

Samsung’s New Foldable Smartphone: The Galaxy Z Flip FE!
Ah, Samsung! The tech titan that keeps us all guessing—like a magician who can’t quite remember where they put their rabbit. This time, they’re ready to drop a bombshell with a brand new foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Flip FE. Now, if you’ve been living under a rock (or just don’t have the latest gossip from the tech world), FE stands for “Fan Edition.” And trust me, it’s not because they want to give cool breezes while you’re scrolling through TikTok. This phone is rather popular among our Polish pals for its nifty little quality-price ratio. They genuinely love getting something for less, don’t we all? Like a half-off pizza deal that still has toppings!

Rumor had it that we’d see the Snapdragon 7s Gen2 doing the cha-cha inside this new gizmo. Spoiler alert: that party’s over! Cue drumroll—this baby will be powered by Samsung’s very own Exynos 2400 processor, the same chip that’s been getting rave reviews from the Galaxy S24 and S24+ fan club. This is a bold move, leaving the likes of Qualcomm in the dust. No one likes overheating issues, and thankfully, this new Exynos is smoother than a buttered eel, offering a great work culture. Let me tell you, that battery doesn’t drain like your mate after a few pints—this has stamina!
But hold your horses! What’s this? Whispers in the wind suggest we might be waving goodbye to the Snapdragon tradition in the main Z Flip line. If the grapevine gossip is to be believed, the next Z Flip could be Samsung’s first flagship flip to sport the Exynos 2500. That’s right, folks! Exynos in the limelight! Now, before you start throwing that confetti, let’s wait for the official confirmation. It’s hard to tell if it’s news or just another February fool’s joke.
Cheap, i.e. How Much?
Here’s where it gets a bit sticky. Everyone wants a good deal—just like everyone wants their cake and eat it too. The million-dollar question remains: just how cheap is “cheap”? Samsung, if you’re listening, to make this foldable phone truly irresistible, knock the socks off the Motorola Razr. Imagine a price tag of around PLN 3,000 to PLN 3,500. That would have tech fans queuing outside shops like it’s the latest Harry Potter release! However, anything above PLN 4,000 will have people giving it the side-eye, like they just found out their favorite restaurant charges for extra sauce.
And just in case you missed it, Samsung is also working on the Galaxy S25—though there won’t be any rainbows or unicorns, but oh, what a choice we shall have!

So there you have it! The Galaxy Z Flip FE is shaping up to be a rather interesting addition to Samsung’s growing collection, possibly catering to folks looking to dabble in the world of foldables without breaking the bank or their sanity. Stay tuned, or better yet, stay charged!

Samsung is gearing up to launch a groundbreaking new foldable smartphone, which will debut with the “FE” designation in its name for the first time ever. This particular marking has garnered immense popularity among Polish consumers, attributed to its exceptional quality-price ratio that resonates well with their preferences.
Galaxy Z Flip FE with Samsung’s own processor
Contrary to earlier speculations suggesting that the upcoming budget-friendly flip phone would feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen2 processor, recent reports indicate that the new model will utilize Samsung’s proprietary processor instead. Notably, it appears Samsung has opted for a reliable chipset that has already proven its prowess in the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ models: the highly praised Exynos 2400, rather than the recently discussed Exynos 2500, which has faced significant delays.
Choosing to source the processor in-house might positively influence the pricing strategy for the device, alleviating fears about performance issues or overheating that can plague rival models. This generation of Exynos processors is recognized for its robust efficiency, ensuring steady performance without excessive battery drain.
However, there is growing concern stemming from the recent revelations from Jukanlosreve regarding the potential discontinuation of the Snapdragon processors in the flagship Z Flip series, particularly the Z Flip 7 model. If these reports hold true, it could mark a significant transition, presenting Samsung’s first flagship flip phone powered by the Exynos series, specifically the Exynos 2500. Yet, given that this originates from an initial source, further confirmation is warranted.
Cheap, i.e. how much?
The pricing strategy for the Galaxy Z Flip FE remains uncertain at this point. If Samsung truly aims to shake up the foldable smartphone market, it will need to undercut the prices set by competing models, particularly the Motorola Razr line (excluding the Ultra variant). A flip phone priced around PLN 3,000 to PLN 3,500 could captivate many consumers, while a device surpassing PLN 4,000 is unlikely to attract long lines at retail stores.

Exynos 2500, which has been the subject of many delays lately. This strategic pivot to its own processor could bring numerous benefits, including potential cost savings and an overall improved user experience with fewer performance issues and minimal overheating concerns. The Exynos 2400 has shown remarkable efficiency, providing users with an optimal balance of power and battery life.
However, there is some unease among industry watchers regarding the potential discontinuation of the Snapdragon processor in the primary Z Flip series and the next Z Flip 7 model. If these rumors hold any weight, we could be witnessing Samsung’s inaugural flagship flip device powered by Exynos, specifically the Exynos 2500. It’s a groundbreaking change worth monitoring as the situation develops.
Pricing Mystery: How Affordable Will It Be?
Now the big question remains - just how affordable will this new foldable be? If Samsung aims to disrupt the foldable market effectively, they might consider pricing the Galaxy Z Flip FE competitively against the Motorola Razr series. A target price range of around PLN 3,000 to PLN 3,500 could pique consumer interest, whereas prices surpassing PLN 4,000 could deter potential buyers, leaving them less enthusiastic about this innovative offering.
All indications point to an exciting upcoming launch that could make foldable technology more accessible to a broader audience, particularly those eyeing the benefits of a foldable device without the extravagant price tag. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the unveiling of the Galaxy Z Flip FE!
