Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra vs S22 Ultra: is it much of a difference? | Galaxy Unpacked | Mexico | Spain | MX | DEPOR-PLAY

There are only hours left until the Galaxy S23. One of the questions, despite all the unconfirmed rumors, is what the Galaxy S23 Ultra offers compared to the Galaxy S22 Ultra, because it is only one generation apart. Are we looking at a considerable jump or just a little more of the same?

Let’s start with the design. The Galaxy S23 Ultra and the Galaxy S22 Ultra they are so similar in appearance that most people will have trouble telling them apart. The sides of the S23 Ultra will have a more iPhone-like finish and the camera lenses will be larger. The power and volume buttons will be located a bit lower than the S22 Ultra. All these small changes will make your S22 Ultra case incompatible with the S23 Ultra.

Another difference we will have on the screen. The S23 Ultra will have a panel Dynamic AMOLED 6.8-inch with a 1440p resolution and LTPO technology for a variable refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. In addition, it will reach the maximum brightness of 1750 nits.

The most notable difference is in the main camera. it abandons the 108MP sensor following three generations to make way for the 200MP sensor with the S23 Ultra. The capacity of the new ISOCELL HP2 sensor promises better photos in every way.

Something else that adds to the difference is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor specially overclocked for phones. Galaxy S23. This chip contains three low power A510 cores running at up to 2.0 GHz, two mid A715 cores running at 2.8 GHz, two A710 cores running at 2.8 GHz, and one high power X3 core running up to 3 .6GHz.

One last difference we have with the selfie. The S23 Ultra will have a 12MP sensor but with better performance in image processing compared to the S22 Ultra, whose sensor was 40MP. Despite the difference in MP, the performance of the S23 Ultra promises to be higher due to the processor.
