A new report suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE may not see the light of day this year.
Samsung may not release a Galaxy S23 FE phone this year, which makes us wonder if it will ever release one.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup is already on sale, of course, and it’s proven hugely popular thanks to the three-device approach. But it has been suggested that a fourth Galaxy S23 is in the works and will be available in 2023. Now all of that is in question.
And while that doesn’t necessarily mean there won’t be, it might indicate that there is, given that we can expect the Galaxy S24 lineup to arrive in early 2024. .
That’s unfortunately all the leaker had to share, but it doesn’t seem like good news for fans of the FE line. There have been reports that Samsung may choose to drop the Galaxy A74 instead of the Galaxy S23 FE, but all of that is now up in the air given this latest tweet.
However, it wasn’t until February 2023 that we heard that a Galaxy S23 FE was in the works and it would feature a cheaper chip to secure a lower price. The entire Galaxy S23 line uses the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, but a leak had indicated that the Galaxy S23 LE will use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 instead.
Is the once hugely popular Fan Edition range now over or will it be resurrected in the future? If the latter, might we still see a Galaxy S23 FE or should we expect something entirely new in 2024? Time will tell, but if you’re waiting for an announcement before updating your current phone, you better look elsewhere for now.
