Samsung Galaxy M22 Receives Android 12 Update With One UI 4.1

As we’ve said many times, Samsung has become very good at releasing timely updates of major new versions of Android for its devices, but it’s not all rosy – due to the sheer number of phones out there. ‘it launches every year, the process inevitably takes many, several months.

Remember the fact that the Galaxie M22 launched in October 2021 (when Android 12 was already official), only now comes to the top of the line and finally receives its taste of Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on top. So at least it gets the latest iteration of Samsung’s skin. It’s also getting the outdated April 2022 security patch, but for such a low-end device, we’ll excuse that.

Speaking of low-end, due to its affordable innards, the Galaxy M22 runs the Core version of One UI, which means some of the features found in higher-end devices won’t be available here. It has been the same since its launch, we just remind you of this fact.

The update to Android 12 comes with build number M225FVXXU4BFD8 in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which are the only two countries where it’s rolling out so far. Hopefully the new software will spread soon.
