Samsung uses the same policy for updating its range of laptops as that which prevails on its smartphones. In 2024, time for the fourth iteration of the Galaxy Book. These embrace the “AI PC” trend inaugurated by Microsoft and Intel, at least in part since they do not have a Meteor Lake architecture processor embedding the NPU (Neural Processing Unit) necessary to accelerate the work benefiting from the AI.
The Galaxy Book4 360 houses an Intel Core and not an Intel Core Ultra. The difference is subtle, but it is important, because only the latter is equipped with an NPU and the Intel Arc graphics part, which provides almost twice as much performance as the Intel Iris Xe.
As its name suggests, the Galaxy Book4 360 allows you to completely flip its screen in order to vary its uses. Above all, it has a 15.6-inch Amoled panel with deep blacks and low response times.
The Galaxy Book4 360 is available at a price of €1,799 with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. To benefit from a Core Ultra 7, you have to turn to the Galaxy Book4 360 Pro sold for nearly €2,199. For the launch, Samsung is offering a Galaxy Tab 9 FE tablet, but we are surprised at the prices aligned with those charged by Apple. Let’s see if the Galaxy Book4 360 can compete with a 15-inch MacBook Air.
