On the 18th, ‘World Accessibility Awareness Day’, Samsung Electronics introduced the improved function of the wireless earbuds ‘Galaxy Buzz 2 Pro’. A software update for the new features will be available in the second quarter of this year.
Samsung Electronics announced that the Galaxy Buzz 2 Pro’s ‘listen to ambient sound’ function will be supported up to a total of 5 levels by adding 2 levels from the existing 3 levels.
Through this, more people will be able to hear surrounding sounds, such as conversations and announcements, louder through the Galaxy Buzz 2 Pro.
According to studies conducted by the University of Iowa and Seoul Samsung Medical Center, respectively, the Galaxy Buzz 2 Pro’s ambient sound listening function can help people with low hearing to improve their language cognition.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Buzz 2 Pro can use the ambient sound listening setting function to fine-tune the volume and tone to suit one’s needs and preferences.
In addition, the Galaxy Buzz 2 Pro can be used by adjusting the left and right ambient sound volume respectively. Through this, the user can set the volume individually considering the hearing ability of both sides to optimally hear the ambient sound.
“We are delighted to introduce the improved accessibility features of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro on the occasion of World Accessibility Awareness Day,” said Moon Han-gil, Master of Suneon Audio Lab, MX Division, Samsung Electronics. We will continue to innovate to provide a better everyday sound experience.”
