Despite the long wait, Samsung may finally launch the One UI 7.0 beta program for compatible smartphones in the coming weeks.
Citing people who work at Samsung as sources, the well-known Ice Universe revealed that the Korean company may release software for the Galaxy S24 line from mid-November.
The tipster also commented that the latest internal beta has the firmware version ending in XJW and the software is full of finalized features, something that is much better than what has been previously leaked.
Unlike previous editions, Samsung has been systematically delaying the public beta of One UI 7.0 and sources say this is happening because the company wants to offer the best possible experience to the public.
Thus, the beta program receives refined and almost ready-to-use software, reducing the time for extensive testing and enabling stable release at the beginning of 2025.
According to a previously leaked list, the One UI 7.0 beta should be launched in South Korea, Germany, China, India, the United Kingdom and the United States.
The smartphones that may receive the update at this time include the Galaxy S24, S23, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 family.
For now, Samsung does not comment on the matter.

**Interview with Tech Analyst, Jane Doe**
**Editor:** Good day, Jane! Exciting news is surfacing about Samsung’s upcoming One UI 7 beta program. What are your thoughts on Samsung delaying the public beta to ensure a better user experience?
**Jane Doe:** It’s a double-edged sword, really. On one hand, taking the time to refine the software could lead to a more polished product and fewer bugs at launch. However, many users are eager to try out new features and stay competitive with Apple’s and Google’s offerings.
**Editor:** That makes sense. Given that the beta program is expected to include highly anticipated devices like the Galaxy S24 and S23, do you think this strategy will maintain user interest in the Samsung ecosystem?
**Jane Doe:** Absolutely, especially with such a diverse range of compatible devices. But if users feel too sidelined or if the beta isn’t accessible in their region, that could sour their experience and loyalty.
**Editor:** Interesting point! With Samsung’s beta program potentially launching in multiple countries, do you anticipate any backlash from users in regions that might be excluded from the initial rollout?
**Jane Doe:** There’s always that risk. Users who feel left out may voice their frustrations online, especially considering how inclusive other beta programs are. It could lead to a debate on the effectiveness of regional rollout strategies versus a global release.
**Editor:** Very insightful! Lastly, how do you think this approach would affect Samsung’s reputation in the long term, considering users’ desire for timely updates?
**Jane Doe:** If executed well, it could elevate Samsung’s reputation as a company that prioritizes quality over speed. However, balancing user expectations with product readiness will be the critical challenge.
**Editor:** Thank you, Jane! Readers, what do you think about Samsung’s decision to refine the One UI 7 beta before public release? Is it a wise move for the company, or should they prioritize getting new features into users’ hands as soon as possible? Let the debate begin!
