Samsung Artificial Intelligence Forum 2023: Exploring A Better Future with AI at Scale

Industry experts and researchers will discuss the future of artificial intelligence at an event themed “A Better Future with Artificial Intelligence at Scale”.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced today that it will organize the Samsung Artificial Intelligence Forum 2023 to be held on November 7 at the Suwon Convention Center in Gyeonggi-do, Korea. This event will showcase the latest research advances in artificial intelligence (AI) and computer engineering to help advance the company’s next-generation semiconductor technologies.

The Samsung Artificial Intelligence Forum 2023, hosted by Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT), will also host world-renowned academics and industry experts who will focus on the direction of future research. The seventh edition of the Samsung Artificial Intelligence Forum will be an in-person event themed “A Better Future with Artificial Intelligence at Scale”.

Kye Hyun Kyung, president and CEO of the Device Solutions division of Samsung Electronics will open the forum with a speech before giving way to conferences from Yoshua Bengio, professor at the University of Montreal and Jim Keller, CEO of the young company Tenstorrent semiconductor technologies.

Satoshi Matsuoka, professor at the Riken Institute of Computer Science in Japan, and Larry Zitnick, researcher at the Meta AI Research Lab will also give lectures. In addition to these distinguished speakers, research leaders from SAIT and computer engineering as well as leading academics from around the world will give us an overview of the status of their research and their vision.

The Samsung AI Forum 2023 will focus on two key topics: Large Language Models and AI Transformation for Industry and Large-Scale Computing for Large Language Models and Simulation; two topics that relate to AI and computer engineering respectively.

During the forum, Samsung will also hold a ceremony to announce the winners of the Samsung AI Researcher Prize as well as the winners of the Samsung AI/Computer Engineering Challenge. These awards recognize young researchers, university students and graduates who excel in their country.

Finally, the forum will promote the vitality of the AI ​​and computer engineering research ecosystem by presenting excerpts from important research articles and setting up networking programs for participants.
