Samsung announces two new soundbars for the Neo QLED 8K display family

Samsung has announced the launch of two soundbars in the Korean market, HW-Q990B and HW-S800Bthe last of which, with a height of 28 mm and a thickness of 40 mm, is intended for the following applications ultra-thin premium TVs.

Both models are for TVs Samusung Neo QLED 8K, recently unveiled by the Korean company, to provide an immersive sound experience.

On the one hand, Samsung communicated through a press release that the most advanced model is the HW-Q990B soundbar, made of metallic materials and which has an LED display small screen on the front to manipulate the device.

When connected to the TV, the soundbar can use up to 22 channels in total (16 soundbar channels and six TV channels).

Additionally, it offers a Son surround 3D with speakers and 11:1:4 channel system Dolby Atmosas well as the Q-Symphonywhich comes pre-installed and manages to combine different sound channels to deliver an amplified and immersive experience.

It also comes with other sound features such as SpaceFit, technology that automatically analyzes the environment and provides an optimized sound experience; and Auto EQwhich uses sensors located in the subwoofer to provide an optimal experience.

It has a built-in feature that allows you to connect the soundbar to a Samsung 2022 Family TV via WiFi, without using Câble HDMI.

On the other hand, the model HW-S800B is a soundbar that features an ultra-thin 40mm thick and compact 38mm tall design.

It is equipped with two top-mounted speakers on the left and right sides and incorporates 3.1.2 channels to enjoy the Dolby Atmos surround sound system.

It can be used with the Korean brand’s new range of televisions and generate The Frame aesthetics without it standing out, and it is available in two colors, black and white.

Finally, Samsung has announced that the ex-factory price of the HW-Q990B model is 1.89 million won (regarding 1.5 million euros). 1,400 euros at the exchange rate), while the HW-S800B will be available in Korea for 899,000 won (around 817 euro).

At this point, it hasn’t said if it will offer these soundbars in other markets or when they will be available.
