After several rumors and leaks, Samsung made the Galaxy Tab S9 FE line of tablets official with the Galaxy S23 FE cell phone and the new Galaxy Buds FE headphones.
In highlights, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus inherit the premium construction of the main line with IP68 certification, but reduce some specifications, such as the AMOLED screen for an LCD, to bring a more affordable price.

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S9 FE line features tablets with premium construction, thin and light design. The biggest highlight is the presence of IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, in addition to including the S Pen for greater productivity.
In terms of dimensions, the standard variant measures 165.8 x 254.3 x 6.5 millimeters and weighs 524 grams, while the Plus comes in at 185.4 x 285.4 x 6.5 millimeters and 628 grams.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE has a 10.4-inch LCD screen, while the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus has a 12.4-inch LCD display, with both supporting a 90 Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the duo is equipped with an unspecified octa-core processor. According to rumors, it would be the Exynos 1380 platform, which powers cell phones like the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy M54, but it is necessary to wait for official confirmation from Samsung Brazil.
In memory configurations, the standard variant is available in 6 or 8 GB of RAM with 128 or 256 GB internal storage, while the Plus version has up to 8 or 12 GB of RAM and the same storage options as the Galaxy Tab S9 .
The duo’s photographic set consists of a 12 megapixel front sensor and an 8 megapixel rear sensor, however the Plus model has an extra sensor, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide one.
For power, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE has an 8,000 mAh battery unit, while the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus has 10,090 mAh. The charging speed is the same for both models, 45W.
Other highlights include WiFi 6, 5G, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. It is worth noting that the tablets are also available in Wi-Fi-only variants. There are also dual AKG speakers and Dolby Atmos support.
