It’s the last week of April and the Samsung has already started releasing security updates for Galaxy smartphones for the month of May 2023. The first model to receive the update in question was the Galaxy A10e.
According to information from the SamMobile website, the latest update for the Galaxy A10e appears to have been released on Monday (24th) and is available in South Korea with the May security patch and firmware version. A102NKOS3CWD1.
The forecast is that the content will be released for models in other countries in the coming days or weeks. You can check availability for downloading the update by going to Settings » Software Update and “Download and install”.
As for what’s new in this update, it should come as no surprise that it only brings new security fixes. The Galaxy A10e is almost three years old and has passed its eligibility date for new features or improvements.
Full details of the May 2023 security patch are also currently unavailable, and we can expect more Galaxy devices to receive the May security update before the patch contents are revealed.
