It is now official, the Samm Sa Kuddu coalition is born. Khalifa Sall, Serigne Moustapha Sy, Anta Babacar Ngom, Bougane Gueye Dany, Déthié Fall, Pape Djibril Fall and Thierno Bocoum have formalized their coalition “Samm Sa Kaddu / Save Senegal” this Monday for the legislative elections of November 17, 2024.

“As a prelude to the legislative elections on November 17:

Considering that the regime in place has failed in its commitments by not keeping the promises made to the Senegalese;
Considering the daily difficulties that people are facing, linked to a gloomy economic situation, a surge in the cost of living and the massive loss of jobs;

Considering the growing despair of our youth, who, for lack of prospects, defy the
dangers of illegal emigration at the risk of one’s life;
Considering the need to supervise government actions through effective parliamentary control, the evaluation of public policies and the voting of laws by worthy representatives of the people;
Considering the need to revalue parliamentary initiative to better respond to the concerns and aspirations of the people;
The coalition Samm sa kaddu: Save Senegal! was founded to provide the Senegalese people with credible representatives, capable of fully assuming the role of parliamentarians in the exclusive service of the Senegalese people.
Our objective is to form a strong parliamentary majority, which will allow cohabitation to be established within the executive, thus guaranteeing a real balance of powers and better governance.
Samm Sa Kaddu / Save Senegal remains open to all the vital forces of the nation, eager to join this dynamic of renewal to build together a just, prosperous and united Senegal.”
