Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The developments in the health of the Egyptian artist Samir Sabry are still a subject of anticipation, following postponing a precise heart surgery that he was supposed to undergo last Sunday, until his vital signs stabilize.

After Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi decided to treat him at the state’s expense, he was recently transferred to the “Maadi” military hospital, and Nani El-Deeb, one of his close friends, said that upon entering the hospital, he underwent comprehensive examinations supervised by “a large number of doctors.”

Al-Deeb suggested in a telephone interview, Monday, to the “A Last Word” program on the Egyptian channel “ON” that the operation would be performed “within three days at the latest,” which is an operation for “catheterization in the aorta, and the installation of a valve in it.”

The artist’s friend, Samir Sabry, explained that the reason for postponing the operation is to wait for the results of further analyzes, the stabilization of the lung condition, and kidney enzymes, while he is currently undergoing “steam nebulization” sessions, and physical therapy, and confirmed that he is in a good psychological condition, amid the great interest of his colleagues and fans, and the care of the crew. medical.

Critic Tariq El-Shennawy revealed on his Facebook page that the Egyptian journalist and artist recorded a new episode of his radio program “My Memories” with Egyptian artist Laila Elwi, which will be broadcast on Tuesday, and it will include what he described as a “demonstration of love for Samir Sabry.”
