Samiksha UK National Badminton Tournament Regionals have concluded

London ∙ The regional competitions of the National Badminton Tournament, held in conjunction with Samiksha UK’s 6th National Conference, which started in Kettering on Saturday, February 4, concluded. Five regional competitions were held in Belfast, Edinburgh, Boston, Eastham and Coventry.

210 teams competed in 12 regions across the UK. According to the number of participating teams from each region, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will compete in the Grand Finale. The finals will be held on March 25 in Manchester. Manchester St. Officials informed that preparations for the finals held at Paul’s Catholic High School are progressing under the leadership of Samiksha UK Manchester Branch.

The winners of the finals will be awarded with an ever-rolling trophy of £1001 (first place), a trophy of £501 (second place), a trophy of £251 (third place) and a trophy of £101 (fourth place). The prizes are sponsored by Goodies, Infinity Mortgage, Kian Logistics Limited, Adis HR and Accountancy Solutions. The tournament coordinators Jiju Simon and Jomin Jo said that they would like to thank the people of all walks of life in the UK for their support to the regional competitions of the Samiksha UK National Badminton Tournament and especially to all the competing teams and hope for everyone’s cooperation to make the grant finale a grand success.
